of course Ai Weiwei is one of the most
important contemporary artists.
This primarily is due to the quality of his artwork.
Weiwei links up very closely his art with
social engagement and cultural commitment.
Needless to say that this leads to a conflict
with the totalitarian regime of his home country China.
Weiweis ethical, cultural and human provocation
activates inevitable consequences.
Media of the world performs his suffering like a martyrdom.


I am a freelance artist and
I think about the human beeing Ai Weiwei.
The pressure of political conditions
results in depression and psychic suffering.
He may feel alone concerning quantity and quality
of the inner pain living to see threat to his life
or physical condition, isolation and torture...
My sympathy for this great man will be displayed
in my artwork and association with the enormous
number of critics of the political and ethical
underdeveloped Chinese regime.
